Welcome to Cassie's Garden! This website was designed as a gift for my wife, Cassie. When we first moved to this home, she knew she didn’t want to have a grass lawn, but she had no idea where to start. The wonderful team at Red Oak Permaculture helped us create a beautiful native garden on the side of our house in the spring of 2024. Cassie then ripped out the grass lawn in the front the following year. It was a lot of work, but now this space is an incredible haven for bees, worms, butterflies, fireflies, and birds. This will be so much better for the environment as it continues to grow in the years to come.

Each garden image features a “hotspot” that provides some detailed information about each plants (common names, scientific names, and interesting facts).
